Growing up, I competed provincially in both Lacrosse and Ringette. All the travelling combined with a very busy schedule lead me to develop a very unhealthy relationship with food as a kid. I frequently was eating fast food or not eating at all.
This unhealthy relationship carried into my young adulthood long after I was no longer competing. I eat very little if ate at all, I lost a significant amount of weight. I felt great about how I looked but it wasn’t sustainable. Once I started eating again, I gained all the weight back and more. That’s when I decided it was time for a serious change.
I started working out more and focusing more on my nutrition. I discover a love for weightlifting & functional fitness. I started getting creative with what I was cooking to fit my nutritional needs.
I became a nutrition coach & personal trainer so that I could continue to better myself as well as help others better themselves.
